Any restaurant in Batala will serve breakfast from morning 7 o'clock till 11 o' clock. The dhabas however operate according to the number of tourists. During festivals and tourist seasons breakfast is available longer than the usual time.

Desserts in Batala

Batala has many sweet shops near the bus stand and railway stations. Sweets are made with ghee and Indian style of preparation. Besan Ladoo, Motichoor Ladoo, and Kaju Roll should be tasted once. They also prepare sweets that are made of milk and milk products. While ordering for dessert in a restaurant, one may taste Phirni (a Punjabi delicacy) and milk shakes of various flavors.
